Lil Wayne Gets His Grown Man On
Lil Wayne’s new album, Tha Carter II is on it’s way and the rap star is ready to make a change. Undergoing a career face-lift, a new found appreciation for life and a journey through the roads on tour , Lil’ Wayne’s a busy man.
He’s already prepping the follow-up single to “Fireman” and hopes to show fans the progression of his maturity with “Grown Man.”
“It’s self-explanatory,” he told MTV.“It’s just showing people that I’ve stepped up.”

Tha Carter II will also offer something special for fans.
“Cash Money/Universal Records will offer — for the first time ever — a deluxe package in celebration of Tha Carter II’s release,” said a statement from Universal.
According to this statement, the album will come along with some of Wayne’s biggest hits chopped and screwed. (“Go DJ,” “Tha Block Is Hot,” and “500 Degreez” will be on there.)

Being from New Orleans, Hurricane Katrina struck hard and took a toll on Wayne and his family. Due to the natural disaster, he lost valuable materials and sadly, family and friends as well, according to a press release.
Still, Wayne is ready to help. “Lil Wayne plans on being an intricate part in rebuilding the city,” said his reps in a press release.
Aside form all this, he will also be joining Young Jeezy and T.I. on the Georgia Power Tour.
